Check out some Bill Nye stuff. This is really just interesting stuff that I found. He explains how quicksand works.

Helpful links for Physics
Helpful Formulas
Need Help, Click Here
These two links should help you if you get stuck with homework, or need clarification on anything. The first is helpful formulas, in case you write something down wrong in your notes. The second is a site that will walk you through problems if you need help. They should both be used as secondary resources. Use your notes first, but if that doesn't work then these sites should be able to get you through most homeworks until you have the chance to ask me.

Introduction
Hello Class,
My name is Josh Viola and I am your physics or chemistry teacher. This year in physics we will be discussing things such as, momentum, energy conservation, and heat, while in chemistry we will talk about the mole, chemical equations, and stoichiometry. I'm very excited to start working with all of you and am interested in what you want to learn. My hope is that we can have a laid back classroom where everyone feels comfortable learning and participating. This is one of the most crucial parts of the student/teacher relationship. I am looking forward to the school year and eagerly await our first class.
